I’m Miranda,
A documentary wedding photographer based in Dallas. I photograph weddings for couples who want to feel like themselves, not like they’re auditioning for a magazine.
I think of myself as a family historian first. What I’m really doing on your wedding day is preserving a record of the people you love, in a moment that will never come back.
I’m quiet and observant by nature, which means I blend in easily and catch things other photographers might miss. The look a parent gives you before the ceremony. The way your best friend laughs. The moment after the kiss, when everyone exhales.
I don’t belive photography should take anything away from your experience. My job is to make sure you forget the camera is there, so you can feel present on the most important day of your lives.
What I belive in: Presence over performance. Beauty in the small details. Honest images. A peaceful experience. Inclusivity. Being a safe space on your wedding day.

01 We connect
If you’re a phone call person, we’ll hop on a quick call. If you’d rather skip that, just fill out a short form and I’ll put together a custom proposal for you. Either way works.
02 You book with confidence
A signed contract and retainer holds your date.
03 Timeline assistance
You’ll fill out my questionnaire and we’ll work together to create the perfect timeline of events. With unlimited email communication and an optional planning call, you’ll feel confident showing up on your wedding day.
04 Photography style
With my laid back and documentary approach, I’m a fly on the wall capturing every little detail.
However..
I do help direct for beautiful family portraits that we can set aside time for if that is important to you.
05 Film and digital photography
I’ll show up with 4-5 different cameras strapped to my body. The majority of your gallery will be digital, with a mix of 35mm and 120 film scans sprinkled in. Within 6 weeks, you’ll receive a fully edited online gallery. Download everything. Print what you love. Keep it forever.
