I’m Miranda,
A documentary wedding photographer based in Dallas. I photograph weddings for couples who want to feel like themselves, not like they’re auditioning for a magazine.
I think of myself as a family historian first. What I’m really doing on your wedding day is preserving a record of the people you love, in a moment that will never come back.
I’m quiet and observant by nature, which means I blend in easily and catch things other photographers might miss. The look a parent gives you before the ceremony. The way your best friend laughs. The moment after the kiss, when everyone exhales.
I don’t believe photography should take anything away from your experience. My job is to make sure you forget the camera is there, so you can feel present on the most important day of your lives.
What I believe in: Presence over performance. Beauty in the small details. Honest images. A peaceful experience. Inclusivity. Being a safe space on your wedding day.
